How delivery works, contractually.
The binding version of what the delivery page describes, applying to every order we accept.
Shipping policy
Delivery policy
Everything below applies to every order. Our full company and contact details appear in the footer of every page of this website.
What delivery costs
Nothing, to mainland Britain, on everything we sell. Delivery is included in the price, there is no minimum order, no handling fee, and nothing is added at the final step of checkout or invoiced to you afterwards. Where a product includes installation, the product page says so and that is included too.
The Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are quoted individually, because the cost genuinely differs and we would rather give you the real figure than average it into everybody else's price. Contact us before ordering and we will give you a firm number. We do not currently deliver outside the United Kingdom.
Lead times
Each product page states its own lead time. We quote these as our experience indicates they really are, rather than as a manufacturer's best case. Where an item is made to order we say so on the product page. If a lead time changes after you order, we will tell you as soon as we know.
Access, agreed before dispatch
This equipment typically weighs between 300kg and one tonne. Before dispatch we will confirm with you where the delivery vehicle can park, the narrowest width and lowest height along the route to the installation point, the ground conditions, whether there are steps, and who will be present.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the access information you give us. If delivery fails because access was materially different from what you described, the cost of a second attempt is yours. If it fails for any reason on our side, the second attempt is ours.
On the day
Delivery dates are agreed with you in advance, not imposed. Someone over 18 must be present to accept delivery. Where installation is part of your order, the crew will need access to the prepared base and a clear route to it.
Check the equipment before the driver leaves. If anything looks wrong, photograph it and tell us within 48 hours.
