Infrared is not a smaller sauna, it is a different thing: no stones, no steam and no long warm up, and a session that costs pennies. This is the three seater, 330mm wider than the two seater with a sixth emitter behind the extra seat.
Delivery & installation
Delivery is available across the UK and the charge is confirmed for your postcode in writing before anything is dispatched. Offshore and some remote postcodes cost more, and we tell you the figure before you commit rather than after.
The cabin arrives flat, as wall, roof and glass panels with the bench and the emitters fitted, 192kg in total on the maker's figure. The number of packages and the size of the largest one are being confirmed with the distributor and are not published here until they are, because on an indoor cabin the question that matters is whether the largest panel turns your stairs.
Installation can be arranged where you would rather not build it yourself, although an infrared cabin is the one most people put together themselves.
Warranty
Seven years on the wood structure and two years on the electrical components, which are the terms France Sauna publish for the Apollon range in its specification sheet.
The UK administration of that warranty runs through the distributor, and we are confirming the claims process in writing before this sauna becomes buyable. Until then the figures above are the maker's published terms rather than a promise we have tested.
Claims come to us. One email, and we deal with the distributor and the maker on your behalf rather than handing you a phone number.
Returns
Until the order is placed with the supplier you can cancel and be refunded in full, with no reason needed.
After that the cabin is on its way from the distributor, and our returns policy sets out exactly where that leaves you. Check the packages against the parts list on the day they arrive and tell us about anything damaged or missing within 48 hours; anything that arrives damaged or faulty is ours to put right either way.
About this product
The Apollon 3 is a 1,530mm by 1,280mm cabin, 1,900mm tall, built in Canadian spruce with an 8mm toughened glass door and a wooden handle. One bench for three, 450mm deep, with a headrest. Six quartz full spectrum emitters surround the bench, 2,600W between them and each with its own switch, and a 225W carbon panel in the floor warms your feet.
A digital panel sets temperature and time and carries FM radio, USB, AUX and Bluetooth. Seven colour LED chromotherapy lights the inside, lights on the outside frame it, and an ioniser cleans the cabin air. The maker rates the cabin at 18 to 60°C.
At 2,825W in total it draws about 12 amps at 230V, close enough to a 13 amp plug's limit that a fused spur from an electrician is the sensible supply. Everything about it is fixed, so there is nothing to configure.
Who this is actually for.
Every product here is described with the honest opposite beside it: who it suits, and who should be looking at something else. If none of the descriptions below fits you, the right answer is elsewhere in the range, or elsewhere entirely, and we would rather say so.
2,825 watts is about 12 amps at 230 volts, which is inside a 13 amp plug's rating but close to it, so a dedicated fused spur is the sensible way to feed it whatever arrives in the box. Whether it ships with a UK plug fitted or is wired to a spur is being confirmed with the distributor, and we settle it with you in writing before dispatch.
Worth confirmingyou want a Finnish sauna. This makes no steam, there are no stones and you cannot throw water. It warms you rather than the air, and people who wanted the other thing are always disappointed. The Zen cabins in this range are the same maker's answer to that.
Each of the 6 quartz emitters has its own switch, so a session can run on the panels behind you alone, or all of them, and the carbon panel in the floor warms your feet either way. There is no long warm up and a session costs about 68p, so it gets used on a Tuesday evening rather than saved for the weekend.
Worth confirminga sauna is an occasion for you. If the ritual of stones, water and real heat is the point, a traditional cabin is the point with it, and the Zen 3 is the same maker, the same width and a similar price.
The product that gets used is the one worth recommending, and it is not always the largest one.
The measurements that decide it.
Read this before anything else. An indoor cabin is almost never sent back because it was the wrong product; it is sent back because it would not go up the stairs or stand up in the room.
The height is the one to check. At 1.9 metres the cabin clears a standard ceiling, but the wall panels are tipped upright to assemble it, so a room with a sloping ceiling or a low beam needs measuring where the cabin will actually stand, not at the door.

Ceiling height, floor, access and where the supply will come from are agreed before the order is placed with the distributor. There is nothing to configure on the cabin itself.

A supply in the right place
A 230V supply within reach of where the cabin will stand, on a circuit of its own. At about 12 amps this is close to the limit of a 13 amp plug, so plan for a fused spur fitted by an electrician whatever the cabin arrives with.

To the door, in panels
The cabin arrives flat as wall, roof and glass panels, with the emitters already fitted to the panels they belong to. Check everything against the parts list the day it lands, which is the easy time to find out.
- Build day
Two people, working from the manual
Wall panels up, glass in, roof on, bench fitted, then the panel connectors plugged together and the control wired. If you would rather hand it over, installation is arranged for your address once you have ordered.
- First use
Switch on and set a time
Set the temperature and the session length on the panel, choose which emitters to run, and give it about fifteen minutes. There are no stones to stack and no water to add.
What owning one actually involves.
The handful of things that decide whether this is still in use in year three.
Quartz emitters give the full infrared range, the A, B and C bands, and the maker rates the cabin at 18 to 60°C. The air never gets as hot as a Finnish room does. Some people love that and some people miss the steam.
France Sauna publish the supply as 230V and no more. At about 12 amps the Apollon 3 sits just inside a 13 amp plug's rating, which is close enough that we would plan for a fused spur from the start. Whether it arrives with a UK plug fitted or for hard wiring is being confirmed with the distributor before this page becomes buyable.
No stones, no water, no filter, no chemistry. Wipe the bench and the glass down, leave the door open after use so the spruce dries, and that is the whole list. The ioniser runs by itself.
A spare room, a bathroom with the space, a home gym or a garage that stays dry. It needs no plumbing, no drainage and no ventilation work. It is not built for outdoors.

Reasons to buy something else.
This is not that and it never will be. If throwing water on hot stones is the point, buy a traditional cabin and be happier for it. The 3.5kW Zen 3 is the same maker, the same spruce and does exactly that.
One bench, three seats, straight front. The Apollon 3C seats three to four across a corner with two more emitters, and we would rather sell you that than watch four people share this.
The Apollon is an indoor cabin. Spruce and electronics in a British garden is not a plan, and nothing in the warranty would cover what happened next.
Infrared warms the body directly and the maker rates the air at 18 to 60°C, against 80 degrees or more in a Finnish room. If walking into a wall of heat is what you are after, that is a traditional cabin's job.
