Infrared is not a smaller sauna, it is a different thing: no stones, no steam and no long warm up. This is the room for six: 1.85 metres square with a U shaped bench, seven adjustable quartz emitters and seven carbon panels behind the slats, 4,000W in total on a dedicated circuit.

Delivery is included in the price, kerbside to mainland Britain: England, Wales and mainland Scotland. The Scottish Highlands, islands and any address a lorry cannot reach are quoted in writing before dispatch, and if the figure does not suit you, cancel for a full refund. Northern Ireland: write to us before ordering. Nothing is added at checkout.
The cabin arrives flat, as wall, roof and glass panels with the emitters fitted and the benches boxed.
Installation can be arranged where you would rather not build it yourself, although an infrared cabin is the one most people put together themselves.
Warranty
Ten years on the wood structure and two years on the electrical components, which are the terms Holl's publish for the Canopée in its 2026 catalogue.
The UK distributor administers the warranty and raises claims with Holl's where needed. The cabin is sold for home use: the distributor does not supply it for commercial use, and commercial or very frequent use can affect cover.
Claims come to us. One email, and we deal with the distributor and Holl's on your behalf rather than handing you a phone number.
Returns
Until the order is placed with the supplier you can cancel and be refunded in full, with no reason needed.
After that the cabin is on its way from the distributor, and our returns policy sets out exactly where that leaves you. Check the packages against the parts list on the day they arrive and tell us about anything damaged or missing within 48 hours; anything that arrives damaged or faulty is ours to put right either way.

About this product
The Canopée 6 is the room in the range: 1,850mm square and 1,900mm tall, in hemlock, with a glass front and an 8mm safety glass door, 600mm wide, set into it. Inside, horizontal hemlock slats line the walls with the emitters behind them, and a U shaped abachi bench over 500mm deep runs round three sides for six seated or three lying down.
It is an infrared cabin rather than a steam one. Seven quartz and magnesium emitters, which Holl's call Dual Healthy, cover the short and long infrared bands, and seven carbon panels around the bench and under it fill in, 4,000W in total. The intensity of each quartz emitter is set from the digital panel, which also carries the time, the temperature, Bluetooth and MP3 audio through a resonance speaker, seven colour LED chromotherapy and an automatic air purifier.
At 4,000W it draws about 17 amps at 230V, beyond any plug, so it is hard wired to a dedicated circuit by an electrician; Holl's also list a 400V three phase connection. Everything about it is fixed, so there is nothing to configure.

Who this is actually for.
Every product here is described with the honest opposite beside it: who it suits, and who should be looking at something else. If none of the descriptions below fits you, the right answer is elsewhere in the range, or elsewhere entirely, and we would rather say so.
The cabin is 1.85 metres square, which is a small room rather than a cabinet, and a U shaped bench runs round three walls for six seated or three lying down. Seven quartz and magnesium emitters and seven carbon panels sit behind the slats, 4,000W in total. At about 17 amps that is beyond any plug and socket, so it is wired to a dedicated circuit by an electrician.
Worth confirmingyou want a Finnish sauna. This makes no steam, there are no stones and you cannot throw water. It warms you rather than the air, and people who wanted the other thing are always disappointed. The 6kW Zen 4 from the same distributor is the traditional room for four.
Each of the 7 quartz and magnesium emitters can be turned down or off from the panel, so a session can run gently on the wall behind you or flat out on all of them, and the carbon panels fill in around them either way. There is no long warm up and a session costs about 96p, so it gets used on a Tuesday evening rather than saved for the weekend.
Worth confirminga sauna is an occasion for you. If the ritual of stones, water and real heat is the point, a traditional cabin is the point with it, and the Zen range from the same distributor does exactly that at a lower price.
The product that gets used is the one worth recommending, and it is not always the largest one.
The measurements that decide it.
Read this before anything else. An indoor cabin is almost never sent back because it was the wrong product; it is sent back because it would not go up the stairs or stand up in the room.
Two things to check. At 1.9 metres the cabin clears a standard ceiling, but the wall panels are tipped upright to assemble it, so a room with a sloping ceiling or a low beam needs measuring where the cabin will actually stand. And at about 17 amps the supply is a dedicated circuit from an electrician, well beyond what a plug carries.

Ceiling height, floor, access and where the supply will come from are agreed before the order is placed with the distributor. There is nothing to configure on the cabin itself.

A supply in the right place
An electrician runs a dedicated circuit to where the cabin will stand and leaves it ready to terminate. At about 17 amps the load is well above what a 13 amp plug is rated for, so a socket is not an option. Holl's also list a 400V three phase connection.

The cabin arrives flat as wall, roof and glass panels, with the emitters already fitted behind the slats on the panels they belong to. Check everything against the parts list the day it lands, which is the easy time to find out.
- Build day
Two people, working from the manual
Wall panels up, glass in, roof on, benches fitted, then the panel connectors plugged together and the control wired. If you would rather hand it over, installation is arranged for your address once you have ordered.
- First use
Switch on and set a time
Set the temperature and the session length on the panel, choose how hard each quartz emitter runs, and give it about fifteen minutes. There are no stones to stack and no water to add.
What owning one actually involves.
The handful of things that decide whether this is still in use in year three.
Three kinds of emitter: quartz and magnesium units that Holl's call Dual Healthy, for the short and long infrared bands, and carbon panels around them and under the bench, all behind the horizontal slats that line the walls. The maker rates the cabin at 40 to 60°C. The air never gets as hot as a Finnish room does. Some people love that and some people miss the steam.
Holl's publish the supply as 230V single phase or 400V three phase. At 4,000W the Canopée 6 draws about 17 amps at 230V, beyond any plug, so it is hard wired to a dedicated circuit by an electrician, the same way an electric shower is.
No stones, no water, no filter, no chemistry. Wipe the benches and the glass down, leave the door open after use so the hemlock dries, and that is the whole list. The air purifier runs by itself.
A spare room, a bathroom with the space, a home gym or a garage that stays dry. It needs no plumbing, no drainage and no ventilation work. It is not built for outdoors.

4,000W for 55 minutes is 3.7 kWh at 26.11p. That assumes every emitter runs flat out the whole time, which overstates the real figure once they cycle at temperature, and by more if you turn the quartz emitters down.

Reasons to buy something else.
This is not that and it never will be. If throwing water on hot stones is the point, buy a traditional cabin and be happier for it. The Zen range from the same distributor does exactly that, at a lower price.
Six seats in 1.85 metres square is a lot of cabin, and a lot of room, for one person on a Tuesday evening. The Canopée 2 seats two, costs £1,590 less and runs on about half the power, and the 3C puts three or four across a corner.
The Canopée is an indoor cabin. Hemlock and electronics in a British garden is not a plan, and nothing in the warranty would cover what happened next.
Infrared warms the body directly and the maker rates the air at 40 to 60°C, against 80 degrees or more in a Finnish room. If walking into a wall of heat is what you are after, that is a traditional cabin's job.
