Delivery & installation
Delivery is included in the price, kerbside to mainland Britain: England, Wales and mainland Scotland. The Scottish Highlands, islands and any address a lorry cannot reach are quoted in writing before dispatch, and if the figure does not suit you, cancel for a full refund. Northern Ireland: write to us before ordering. Nothing is added at checkout.
Delivery to a mainland UK address is in the price. The cabin arrives on a pallet, set down at the kerb or the nearest firm, level spot the driver's pallet truck can reach; a pallet truck does not cross gravel, grass or a step. From there the parts move by hand, and two people can carry the parts. We confirm the delivery arrangement for your address in writing when we process your order.
Offshore addresses, the Scottish Highlands and islands, and any address a lorry cannot reach are quoted separately before you order.
Installation is not in the price. It can be arranged for your site where you would rather not build it yourself, and the cost is confirmed before anything is delivered.
Warranty
Four years on the timber and two years on the electronics, the terms Holl's publish for this range.
The UK distributor administers the warranty and raises claims with the maker where needed. The cabin is sold for home use: commercial or very frequent use can affect cover.
Claims come to us. One email, and we deal with the distributor and the maker on your behalf rather than handing you a phone number.
Returns
Until the order is placed with the supplier you can cancel and be refunded in full, with no reason needed. Your statutory cancellation rights are set out in full in our returns policy.
Check the pallet on the day it arrives, count the parts against the list in the manual, and tell us about anything damaged or missing within 48 hours with photographs. Anything that arrives damaged or faulty is ours to put right. Do not book an electrician or an installer for a fixed date until the delivery has arrived and been checked.
About this product
A curved two person cabin measuring 150 by 130cm and standing 2 metres tall, small enough for a terrace or a courtyard and low enough that permitted development usually covers it even close to a boundary.
The price includes the heater. A 4.5kW stove and its stones ship with the cabin, so what arrives is a working sauna rather than a room you still have to specify.
Canadian pine treated with heat rather than chemicals, with an abachi bench that stays cool enough to sit on at 90C because the timber carries almost no resin. A tinted glass door at the front and a half moon window at the back, with seven colour LED lighting built in.
At 230V a 4.5kW element draws 19.6A, which is beyond any plug and socket, so this cabin runs on a dedicated circuit in steel wire armoured cable protected by a 30mA RCD, installed by a qualified electrician who sizes the protective device on site.

Who this is actually for.
Every product here is described with the honest opposite beside it: who it suits, and who should be looking at something else. If none of the descriptions below fits you, the right answer is elsewhere in the range, or elsewhere entirely, and we would rather say so.
The footprint is 1.5 by 1.3 metres and the height is 2 metres, which is the whole point: it stands where a barrel would not go, and under 2.5 metres it usually needs no planning application even within 2 metres of a boundary. Two people sit on the abachi bench. The 4.5kW stove, its stones, the glass door and the seven colour lighting are all in the price.
Worth confirmingyou want four people in it, or to lie down. Two sit and nobody stretches out. If a family sauna is the point, a larger cabin is the answer and we will say so rather than sell you this.
It arrives on a pallet and goes together with two people on a flat, hard, level base that you lay first. At 19.6 amps the stove is beyond any plug and socket, so it needs a circuit of its own in armoured cable, which is an electrician's job and a notifiable one in England.
Worth confirmingyou were hoping to plug it in. Nothing at 4.5kW plugs in. If an armoured circuit cannot reach the spot, an infrared cabin indoors runs from an ordinary socket and we would rather point you there.
The product that gets used is the one worth recommending, and it is not always the largest one.
The measurements that decide it.
Read this before anything else. Things this size are almost never sent back because they were the wrong product. They are sent back because the pallet could not be set down, the parts would not reach the spot, or the ground under them was never going to hold them.
The pallet is the one to respect. It moves on a pallet truck, which needs a hard, level surface from the lorry to wherever it stops. Gravel, grass, a kerb without a dropped edge or a single step all stop it. From wherever the pallet stops, the parts are carried by hand, and the glass door is the one to plan the route for.

Order and site check
Base, access and your electrical supply are agreed before the order is placed with the distributor. You arrange the base and the circuit. There is nothing to configure on the cabin itself.

A flat, hard, level base at least 1.5 by 1.3 metres, and an electrician runs a dedicated circuit for the 4.5kW stove to it in armoured cable and leaves it ready to terminate. Outdoor circuits and rooms containing a sauna heater are notifiable work in England, so this is not a job for a competent friend.
- Delivery day
One pallet, set down at the kerb
The cabin arrives on a pallet at the kerb or the nearest firm, level spot the pallet truck can reach. Count the parts against the list that day and photograph anything damaged. Two people carry the parts to the base.
- Build
Base frame, walls, glazing, benches
The base frame goes down, then the curved shell sections, the glazed front and the back, and the bench, working from the maker's instructions. Two people and a drill. If you would rather hand it over, installation can be arranged for your address once you have ordered.
- Before first use
The electrician returns
The stove is fitted, connected and the circuit tested and certified. You should be handed a certificate. Then the stones go in, loosely, and the first heat cycle burns off the factory smell with the door open.
What owning one actually involves.
The handful of things that decide whether this is still in use in year three.
A flat, load bearing slab or paved base at least 1.5 by 1.3 metres, laid before the pallet arrives. A base that settles takes the door out of square, which on a curved cabin is more noticeable than on a square one. The base is not included.
4.5kW at 230V is 19.6 amps, which is well beyond a 13 amp plug, so the stove runs on a circuit of its own in armoured cable, protected by a 30mA RCD and certified by an electrician before first use. The exact rating and cable size are the installer's calculation for your run.
The pine is treated with heat rather than chemicals, which is what makes it stable outdoors, and the abachi bench stays cool enough to sit on at 90 degrees because abachi carries almost no resin. Left alone the outside silvers over a few seasons.
A curved shell has no cold upper corners for heat to sit in, which is why a small cabin like this evens out quickly. The trade is siting: a curved cabin wants to be seen from more than one side to look right, so pushing it flat against a fence wastes the shape you paid for.
Holl's specification for the Cocoon 130 is the 4.5kW stove Holl’s supply, and that is what ships. The cabin is about 3.9 cubic metres outside, and the working rule of about 1kW per cubic metre, plus an allowance for the glass door and rear window, lands at 4.5kW. A 6kW stove would reach temperature a little sooner in a room this size, then spend the session cycling on and off, and it would ask for a bigger circuit, about 26 amps against 19.6. More output than the room needs buys a larger electrical job, not a better sauna.

a few pounds, every few years
Sauna stones crack and crumble with use, are restacked yearly and replaced when they do. They ship with the stove and they are the only consumable part.
Assumptions: electricity at the Ofgem price cap unit rate of 26.11p per kWh, 1 July to 30 September 2026, including VAT. Figures are calculated from the stove's rated output of 4.5kW, not measured on an installed cabin. 45 minutes to heat up is our working figure for a single skin outdoor cabin of about 3.9 cubic metres. On a cold, windy night the real figure sits above these numbers rather than below them.

Reasons to buy something else.
Delivery is by lorry to the kerb. A shared private road, steps to the kerb, a gravel drive or a double parked frontage all need solving before you order, not on the day. From wherever the pallet stops, every part moves by hand.
At 19.6 amps the stove is well beyond a 13 amp plug and needs a dedicated circuit in armoured cable. If that cannot reach the spot, an infrared cabin indoors runs from an ordinary socket, and the Apollon and Canopée ranges are built for exactly that.
The bench seats two and the cabin is 1.3 metres deep. Two people sit; nobody stretches out. If seating a family is the point, a larger cabin is the answer and we will point you at one rather than sell you this.
A single skin timber shell with air on both sides loses heat far faster than an insulated wall. This cabin heats quickly and cools quickly, and in January the 4.5kW stove is working hard to hold 80 degrees. If year round evening use at the lowest running cost is the aim, an insulated cabin costs more for exactly that reason.

4,500 watts at 230 volts is 19.6 amps, which is arithmetic rather than a claim, and it puts the stove beyond any plug and socket and onto a dedicated circuit. Armoured cable and a 30mA RCD are what an outdoor circuit requires under BS 7671. The circuit rating and cable size are the installer's calculation on site and this page does not state one.
